EZ Bathroom is an app that promises to help you design a bathroom with a variety of options for furniture and décor. Unfortunately, an unintuitive interface and the fact that most of the app's features can't be accessed without an upgrade make EZ Bathroom hard to recommend.
Pros
Some Flexibility: To be honest, we're struggling to come up with much of anything that we liked about EZ Bathroom. We suppose we can give it some credit for the fact that the fixtures it includes can be resized, making it easier for you to see how things will actually fit into your bathroom. Beyond that, though, we don't have much praise for this app.
Cons
Limited Views: EZ Bathroom is upfront about the fact that it only offers you a front view of the bathroom that you're designing, which is pretty limiting if you're seriously trying to redesign or reconfigure your bathroom. Both the bathroom and its fixtures can be resized by length and height, but there's no accounting for depth, and no overhead view. The app may be able to give you a general aesthetic sense of what your new bathroom will look like, but it's not going to work for serious remodel planning.
Limited Options: Almost none of EZ Bathroom's fixtures or materials are accessible in the free version of the app. There's one mirror, one sink, one toilet, one cabinet, and one bathtub available for you to try; if you want to explore any other options, you're going to have to upgrade. We hope you like white tile, because that's the only wall option the app provides. There's really not much at all you can do with EZ Bathroom unless you want to spend $1.99 to unlock the rest of its features.
Bottom Line
EZ Bathroom is not particularly useful; the free version of the app is extremely limited, and even if you pay for an upgrade, you're not going to be able to do legitimate bathroom planning with this app. It may show you -- if you pay -- how a particular cabinet finish will look with your towels and shower curtain, but it's not going to help you actually lay out your new bathroom. There are better-designed apps with more features available, and we recommend users seek out alternatives.
