EyeCheck: Eye Test Vision Care for Android

EyeCheck: Eye Test Vision Care is a home screening application designed to assist users in monitoring their eye health through standardized tests. It offers a range of assessments, including visual acuity, color perception, astigmatism, and macular function, utilizing calibrated charts for accurate results. The app also features guided eye exercises and care tips, making it suitable for various users, including families and professionals who spend significant time on screens.

The application integrates four clinical-style screenings into a single workflow, utilizing Snellen, Tumbling E, and Landolt C acuity charts, alongside Ishihara-style color plates and astigmatism charts. A unique calibration process involving a physical credit card ensures the correct sizing of optotypes across different devices. EyeCheck prioritizes privacy by storing test results locally, enabling users to track their eye health discreetly. While it offers practical tools for routine checks, it is essential to note that the app is not a substitute for professional eye examinations.
