EventSentry Light for Windows

User Reviews

• A friend recommended it and for now I love it.

  Prodigy45September 13, 2017

  Pros

I just installed it and I'm using it for a couple of days. But I wanted to leave a quick review since I always forget to do it and Eventsentry deserves it. I'm just monitoring 2 computers for now but planing to do more since I started to love it! For now it works just perfect.

  Cons

For now I can't find one Cons. It crashed one time but my computer "server" is full of installed apps and tools and frameworks and almost anything crash some times

  Summary

Great and simple tool for monitoring.

• Somehow basic but what I needed.

  deftoner_September 13, 2017

  Pros

Of course the first on the list is " Its free!" It has a lots of monitor features focused on event log, system monitoring, app monitor, etc. Virtually you can monitor anything that happens on the computer. Its lightweight and fast.

  Cons

Obviously the free version will have less features of the paid version. but for me it does what I need.

  Summary

For my small network it works perfectly. I'm even using their sysadmin tools pack that they are also free and great too.

• Great Monitoring Tool

  TheWizardOfOzRulesDecember 13, 2011

  Pros

  * Free * Offers basic monitoring for free, no time restriction * Includes event log, log file, system health monitoring (services, disk space, performance, etc.) * Supports temp & humidity sensors

  Cons

  * Limited functionality * Occasional prompt to upgrade to full version

  Summary

Overall a must-have for any small network, larger shops should consider the full version though.
