It provides the ability for writing Esperanto characters in a simple way. You may choose between four different keyboard layouts. Esperanto-sc I found most useful for beginners. Thanks a lot to the programisto :)
Cons
The installer installs in a different location as usually in Tiger, so I put the files from Library to System-Library manually for having them together with the default file and restarted the computer (re-login might be enough). Not really a minus
Summary
I like it, because it does what it offers: It is an easy to use keyboard layout for mac. Apple should make Esperanto available that way for all customers.

Here are five stars for you. You might want to update your documentation in your legu min file, it makes no mention of the package installer. Great work!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Installed on a G4 running OS 10.2.8, the keyboard allowed me access to the needed supersigned letters for Esperanto, with the exception of the h circumflex. I got a slashed h instead. The automatic u brev substitution did not function. Testing done in TextEdit. Works only for Unicode-capable apps (NOT MS Word V.X, for example). This is not my favorite keyboard layout for Esperanto, since the placement of the Esperanto keys has no mnemonic or ergonomic logic. The same, of course, is true of the entire QWERTY layout. Once learned, the layout can be effective and quick. The automatic u brev substitution is a nice idea.
