Pros
The program provides a good selection of games, and the manual is well written to explain the levels and techniques for solving. User interface is a little slow, but not unlike other iPhone games, so this is probably an iPhone thing, not a game thing. Highlighting the selected digit where it appears is also useful in some cases, although I prefer the mind challenge of looking at a set of digits and seeing how fast I can tell which are missing. <p> <p>When all numbers are specified, the number key is shaded. Needs to be a slightly more vivid color...hard to see.
Cons
Need an undo command on the game screen. If you alter the pencil marks, these changes should be maintained as the screen updates, and through an undo. Hint might be provided by highlighting a row/column or 9-block.
