EGW Writings is a compilation of thousands of writings by one of the most prolific writers in American history -- Ellen G. White. Since the vast majority of White's writings were on topics of spirituality and religion, the format is split here between essays and papers and her writings on The Bible and other religious texts. The result is an easy-to-navigate app that provides numerous tools for finding different bits of information and opinions she expressed in her works.

EGW Writings opens much like any other compilation app on the iPhone. There is a central browser that allows you to choose where you will look, a search tool, and a page navigator. You can also share any given page you are reading and you can take notes at any time. While not as powerful as a dedicated eReader app or some of the other free reading apps on the iPhone, this app works fairly well because of the range of options it includes and the way they are integrated with the depth of White's writings. The interface is basic and does only the bare minimum, but in this case that's okay because there are no added features that need advanced interface tools.

If you are a fan of Ellen G. White's work or would like to integrate it into your studies more actively, this app is a useful tool for you. It's laid out in an easy-to-navigate, easy-to-read format, and there are enough options here to help you find anything you need to know. The app is free and there are no ads included.
