Developed by Crystal Instruments, the EDM App is a software program designed for vibration control and real time data processing on the iOS device. It supports various dynamic signal analysis (DSA) and vibration control system (VCS) functions. Through a direct wireless connection between your iPad and any Spider units on the wireless network, the EDM App allows engineers to monitor and control test settings and measurements, flip through existing measurement setups, or create new test configurations from scratch. A wide range of display types and layouts offers online data viewing and real time interaction. Screen shots together with testing status can be emailed as testing report to the recipients with one command. Applications includes FFT, Random, Sine and Shock shaker control, automated limiting test and more.
