Tab-style memo windows stick to the edges of the screen.
Edgies is an alternative application for Stickies. Just like Classic Mac's Popup Window, tab-style memo windows stick to the edges of the screen, dragging text to a screen edge makes a new memo tab.
This was a once inspired little utility, however the developer has ceased both to develop and to respond to repeated reports of major issues with Snow Leopard.
Cons
I have repeatedly contacted the developer of this once inspired little utility, but there has been no response. Features promised have not happened and this utility has major issues with Snow Leopard in both Spaces and Exposé.
Summary
Contact the developer before you send your $10. If you can coax a response as to why he has not updated this since the advent of Snow Leopard, or even perhaps coax an actual update, then and only then should you consider paying for this.

...ABAND
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS.
APPARENTLY AFTER GETTING OUR $10 AND AFTER A BUNCH OF PROMISES OF NEW FEATURES TO COME, THE DEVELOPER HAS DECIDED TO BAIL.
IT HAS BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW SINCE ANYTHING HAS BEEN DONE.
I GET NO RESPONSES FROM REPEATED EMAILS CONCERNING ANY OF THESE FEATURES OR OF FIXES FOR ISSUES THAT HAVE CROPPED UP SINCE SNOW LEOPARD.
THIS UTILITY HAD SUCH PROMISE AND WAS VERY INSPIRED, BUT ALAS, THE DEVELOPER TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN.
SOME NEW DEVELOPER SHOULD COME UP WITH SOMETHING SIMILAR.

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
.. but the implementation is very buggy at this point. So buggy it ought to be labeled beta. Before it does anything (show a tab, hide a tab, create a tab, whatever), all the little tabs briefly hop up in the air. It's like having mexican jumping beans on your desktop. Except for every once in a while, the tabs hop up and then just stay there. Then it's like having decapitated mexican jumping beans on your desktop. I have been messing with the preferences for about an hour trying to get it to stop these antics to no avail. Deleted the plist to start over, but this behavior is present out of the box on my system, including on a vanilla user account. I would keep trying, but I don't want to start smoking again.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Very elegantly designed, intuitive and easily customized. Not only can you drag and drop texts and pictures, but web addresses as well (sure you could drag them to the dock, but who wants all that clutter?) Finally a "stickies" program I'll use. Sidenote is free, but in terms of usability, this is a much better product
