EdConnect is a video-based messaging app that brings the classroom experience online. With EdConnect's asynchronous video communication, educators can connect with online students and students can collaborate in a way that honors everyone's busy schedules. **EdConnect is now being offered to educators for free through May 30, 2020.**

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Educators: Invite students to class groups, post topics and add prompts for students to respond to with their own videos, moderate comments, host "virtual office hours" to answer questions on your own time, hold daily stand-up meetings with TAs, and more.

Students: Quickly upload videos to address class prompts, respond or react to classmates' videos, get instant notifications when your professor or classmates post new videos, hold your own virtual study groups, and ask your instructor questions in a more personal format than email.

WHY NOT JUST EMAIL OR TEXT?

When it comes to providing context, demonstrating complex subjects, and providing a sense of connection, email and text often fall short, leading to lower engagement and retention rates for online students.
