- With EchoLink for iPhone a licensed amateur radio operator can make contact with any other amateur operator (HAM) in the world. Whether it be by wi-fi or 3G, it works darn near flawlessly and is one more step in technology.
- Cons
- The interface, though fully functional, is a bit clumsy, especially when using bluetooth or other such wireless device. For free and with the many dedicated hours hours put forth by fellow hams to make this mode available No Complaints.
- Summary
- Get it. It is Fun ... especially when you have no available HF gear.
