eFax Messenger is the fastest and easiest way to receive faxes and voicemail - whether you're on the road, at the office, or working from home. eFax Free allows you to receive messages by email, or receive wireless notification. No more standing around the fax machine waiting for your fax to arrive. No more wandering eyes looking at your confidential documents. No more missed voicemails. With eFax Free you receive your faxes and voicemail as attachments in your email account.

eFax should be ashamed they haven't updated this program in over 5 years. My business has paid them a lot of money since then, and the least they can do for their customers is make sure that their software won't crash under the latest version of OS X.
Works Great!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I send & receive faxes everyday with this software. The price is right, my faxes are more secure in a busy office environment (no snooping eyes) and I can view my faxes on the road. I have now set up 3 offices with efax, and replaced our old HP landline faxes.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
eFax Free is free (and the system is reliable) but if the number of inbound fax pages exceed the monthly limit (read their fine print) your account will be terminated with immediate effect. You'll get a rather blunt email telling you so, inviting you to apply for a pay-for account. The email wording could have been more polite but the tone was enough for me to abandon it for a lower cost but effective alternative (maxemail) since my fax traffic volume doesn't warrant the cost of the full eFax pay-for service.
