DynoBox is a virtual Dynamometer to measure the performance, speed and power of your car with the accelerometer (not the GPS receiver) of your iPhone. DynoBox tracks the acceleration of your car, calculates speed, distance and performance and plots it into an easily readable graph.Choose from a wide variety of units to measure the time and speed your car achieves on the Quartermile or measure how long it takes to get to a certain speed. DynoBox can also calculate the actual power your car produces.The calibration screen helps you to position your iPhone for maximum accuracy. Please note, that the iPhone has to be placed in a car mount to work accurately.After each run you can review every split-second by sliding your finger over the display of your iPhone.The last runs are saved and can be reviewed later.In addition you will find the current lateral (sideways) force on the bottom of the screen, along with a "Max lateral force" display.DYNOBOX USES THE MOTION SENSORS OF THE IPHONE TO DETECT THE SPEED.
