  Duke 3D was the popular FPS between Doom's hayday and Quake's revolution. With odd quips and strong attitude, the character of Duke comes alive to the user. It's easy to get sucked into the game and feel like you are really there. The graphics were great for the day, but be warned, and read the Cons...

  Cons

  ...All objects are 2d, so it is very antiquated. There really isn't a lot of variety in the enemies, though the surroundings and levels are great. <p> <p>The BIG con for me, though, is that this one pushed the boundaries too far. There is near-frontal nudity, a lot of beer, and overly violent atmospheres and deaths. After a couple minutes of play, this one goes too far for me.
