In the charming, artistic Drawing Hand Screen Saver, you watch a disembodied hand magically sketch a picture stroke by stroke. Installation is quick, and you can preview the screensaver as soon as it's installed. It doesn't have many settings, though you can adjust the drawing speed. The registered version lets you download new drawings and toggle the visibility of the drawing hand.

The latest version also allows you to substitute drawings from ArtStudio 2006. You won't find any support for music, but that's not a critical problem. The real pleasure here is watching an image emerge from the blank canvas.
