  We really like the way that PDF-Direct lets you combine and save files and having the source directory as a pull-down for where you want the file to go. The automatic file name is also nice.

  Looks nice, seems to do a good job of making pdf files and allowing you to edit them, IN THE TRIAL VERSION.

  1. you get nothing for your $100. The software cannot be activated, so you're left with a permanent "trial" watermark on all your documents. <p> <p>2. Absolutely nothing you can do about it - noted several other users with the same issues on Zeon's forum, with no replies to their queries 6 months later. FAQ nonetheless does not address this problem. No support available. Should have known better than to get a product from a foreign country with no support info. A tough $100 lesson learned. <p> <p>Definitely spend the extra cash and get a true adobe product, or at least be VERY careful to buy software only from a place with some form of customer support, hopefully in this country so you have at least a mailing address available. <p> <p>I'm out $100 and still have to start over looking for a pdf solution.

  Wow, where to start? Even CNET editors admit problems with DocuCom, but then turn around and give it a 4/5! DocuCom could not convert colored text; watermarks magically disappeared; and background images consistently shift outside the page margins; documents larger than 300k took far too long to convert, and it locked up with a 1Mb file with graphics; not to mention the steep price. The market is flooded with PDF apps; don't choose DocuCom -- you can do much better with a small amount of research.
