This application lets you create graphical representations of and attach notes on the relationships among your files, folders, applications, and favorite sites, although you'll need help getting started. Once you've consulted the video tutorials or the help file, you'll find it's relatively easy to use DocPointer Visual ReadMe's intuitive interface to generate maps. You can draw lines to show the correlations among items, include text boxes to provide reminder notes on how files work together, and add links with only a few steps. This application then allows you to freely move these objects without disconnecting them from each other, making the editing process more convenient. You can also use this application to create site maps and basic flowcharts, but you're limited in your choice of objects. Amazingly, the program supports both video and MP3 files. Users needing visual documentation of files on their machines or on their networks as well as entry-level Web designers will find something to like about this freeware.
