Used Direct Audio Converter and CD Ripper for Windows?
Editors’ Review
If you need to rip CDs or convert audio files, this application makes an all-around solid choice. Direct Audio Converter and CD Ripper lives up to its name; its tabbed interface is largely straightforward, though it doesn t exhibit a breathtaking design scheme.
Similar to any competent CD-ripping application, this one can query the Internet to retrieve track information and supports a number of audio formats, including MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, FLAC, and APE. You can, of course, set the audio quality for any given codec, and where appropriate, you can use the space-efficient VBR mode.
Both the converter and the ripper demonstrate quick performance, and the demo will let you encode as many tracks as you like for a full 10 days, though we should note the converter only will accept five files at a time. It may not be free or full of fancy features, but this no-nonsense program nonetheless delivers.
