  Pros

  Seems to have almost all that you need for recording a dictation. But the format for the files is too limited.

  Cons

  It works good for dictations, not as good for transcriptions and the file format is too limited.

• Wow..Nice job of recording my telephone service dial-up voicemail

  Pros

  I had no idea the compression of the .wav file would be soooo great. Did a nice job of directly recording from my voice-modem about 20 minutes of messages I wanted to archive.

  Cons

  I would have liked a built-in dialer that allows me to punch in keys on the computer that correspond to hitting the touch-tone keys of my phone, allowing me to not use the phone itself.
