The entire purpose is to make available small applications providing functionality that either no-one currently provides or persons charge ridiculous amounts for.
These applications are apps that take less than a day to create but still provide value.
These applications are provided as is and are in no way perfect or completely bug free. They are just here to fill a gap and made for fun.
The motto is "I can't find this app anywhere and it probably takes me shorter time to program it than to find something close to what I want so why not just create the app instead.
