In 1927 the company's founder, Albert Nothdurft, opened up a small carpentry workshop in the town of Wangen bei Gppingen, thus effectively laying down the foundations for ALNO. Now ALNO AG specializes in the fields of fitted kitchens and DIY-kitchens and in kitchen technology.
