Editors’ Review
Users can organize their files, by extension, into preset desktop folders, but can't create additional folders with DesktopXrganizer.
The program's interface is crowded but fairly comprehensible, especially with the quick help text provided on its main window. It includes 10 preset folders with associated file types. You can rename and edit them, but you aren't allowed to add new folders.
DesktopXrganizer offers easy one-click access to organize files, along with the equally simple Undo button if you don't like the results. It also has a feature to create your own wallpaper, with text and foreground and background color controls, but we found this to be a pretty basic tool.
Although we'd like a bit more flexibility with folders, DesktopXrganizer is fairly easy to use and can help anyone juggling multiple file types organize his or her desktop items.
