DeskAngel for Windows

The DeskAngel is an application intended to extend the use of your mouse and keyboard. This means getting more done with fewer keystrokes or mouse clicks.

We were more than a little confused by the instructions in the Read Me document that accompanied this application installation. After visiting the website for the application, some of the features were made more clear but nearly half of them are useless if you don't have a mouse with a wheel (for scrolling). Most of the other features like Edge Snap, Roll, and Screen Clipping are already available through Windows 7. If you don't have that and regularly use a mouse with a wheel, then this application can be useful for you. We did appreciate that DeskAngel works in the background, and doesn't seem to interfere with the regular function of our computer. If we didn't already have many of the features through software already on our computer, this would be a great download. Some of the feature descriptions are difficult to understand if you are a novice computer user.

The download and installation process was quick. There wasn't much to read through and it was all very simple. Once the installation was done, you were asked if you wanted to run DeskAngel and open Read Me, which you'll definitely need to do. Overall, it's not for us but great for anyone who doesn't already have those added features and wants the convenience of them.
