This application connects small groups of five to six individuals who are strangers, encouraging meaningful conversations without the distractions commonly found in dating apps or social media. Users can easily sign up, answer a series of questions, and reserve a seat at an upcoming dinner, with matching based on complementary interests. The specific location of each dining event is disclosed only two hours prior, adding an element of surprise for participants.

In addition to the dining aspect, Dear Stranger features a distinctive anonymous letter system. After each dinner, users can leave letters for future diners, fostering a sense of continuity and shared experience among participants.
