  Could be a useful utility

  Unable to install due to non-compatibility issue -- If you are running Win7 requires MS NET Framework3 installed to run Data capper (available from Windows Update as an optional extra) --- MS Vista includes this library by default.

  Summary

  I was looking for a small program to sit in the taskbr which would monitor my ports activity. Had a program that did this when I run a Win XP machine thought DataCapper was the one.

  simple but desciptive display

  Instal had a problem with my Draytek router but with a little guesswork got it running OK.

  Summary

  More useful than other metering software which doesn't distinguish between network and WAN traffic.

  Easy to install

  Cons

  Wasn't able to accurately monitor my downloads. I had to check with my ISP and fix the amount it said I'd downloaded every time I booted my computer up.

  Summary

  Not worth installing a product if it can't do what you want it to.
