This is a Con alright. The Free Download does Nothing!!!
Summary
Don't get sucked in by the Free Download advertisement. The version will do NOTHING for you. You will get a message that says you need to pay for the full version. So, then you go to pay the $17.99, that ends up being $23.22, then later you will be charged another $4.19 for extended download protection that you never signed up for.

Wasted half a day to find out that it didn't work at all. (Is this a con??). Support were very fast initially until they discovered that I had a problem. Then they vanished.

Don't waste your money<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jul 16, 2015<p/>Forgot to mention that it is advertised at $17.99 but when you go to down load it it is $26.99. The trial version works as well as the final product which is to say.......NOT AT ALL!!

The pro is it works! I know I had to pay for it, but tried another free version called Ophcrack and it needed some sort of rainbow files to go with it and I had no idea what those were or how to use them. I saw a video of one girl who used Ophcrack by itself and it worked for her, but it could not find my password. Daossoft program just asked me if I wanted to use no password for any of the user and administrative names, I put yes no password , and took out the cd. Restarted the computer and the password was gone. Just like that. I was repairing a computer that someone had for a long time and forgot they even had a password. It worked.
Cons
I think the free version might work on three letters or less. Like who in the world would make a password like that? Don't bother to make the free one if you don't want to waste a good blank dvd, as what it shows you on the ad is just exactly what it does.
Summary
I think that this is a good product , especially for people who work on other people's computers. But you have to know for sure it is that the "lost password" computer actually belongs to the person asking you to unlock it. Proceed with caution on that note.

Don't bother downloading trial version...does absolutely nothing...download it install it on computer...create a restore disk with usb go to use and then it says cannot recover passwords in trial version...Then why even offer a trial version? Not only did it waste my time but ensured I would rather leave my computer broken than buy your software. REMOVE THE TRIAL VERSION!
