User Reviews

• Spreadsheet-like powerful technical computing tool.

  edmillerskiJanuary 5, 2012

  Pros

Easy to use data analysis and graphing app that avoids the necessity of complex programming. Fast performance, small footprint, handles large data well. A good tool to have for many scientific/engineering applications and a better alternative for those who feel handicapped by Excel.

  Cons

No native Linux version, requires Wine or similar Windows emulator.

  Summary

Excellent data analysis and visualization tool. The spreadsheet concept greatly simplifies the implementation of analysis without tedious coding. Includes many functions and also provides a C/C++ based scripting language. For me, easier to use than other technical computing alternatives. Great for exploratory data analysis. After just a few days, DADiSP has become my "go-to" number crunching application.
