• Gathers, organizes data from 'net, many other sources.

  Pros

  Much more than a bookmark manager: an information organizer. Captures many kinds of data, and allows you to organize it, with multiple search and cross-referencing functions. Easy to understand. Easy to use. Excellent support team. A bargain.

  Cons

  A few rough edges, mostly with documentation and user interface. Nothing of real concern to me.

  Summary

  I love CyberKeeper. I have had it for a number of months and use it a lot - a LOT. Finding it classified as a bookmark manager or a search tool is like finding computers with the adding machines. Almost every time I go surfing for something, I fire CyberKeeper up first. If I don't, I regret it. Research on Tv's before CyberKeeper: Here I am, trying to figure out which TV to buy. As I move from webpage to webpage, I grab URL's to review later. Sometimes I make and attach notes for a bookmark. I may organize the bookmarks in a hierarchy of folders, or not. But then I have to revisit these sites again and again, as I narrow down to the most relevant. Of course this doesn't account for data from my financial software, emails, pictures, and so on. You get it. With CyberKeeper: You define Projects, also called Collections (e.g., What TV to buy?). These are containers for any number of Tabs (e.g., Sony, Panasonic, table of comparisons, etc.). Tabs are containers for any number of Records (e.g., prices, reviews, and any relevant data from other sources). Besides this organization, there are categories of Projects and multiple Tags on everything for cross-referencing. You then surf to capture and store copies of, or links to, web pages (and more). These are records. Websites are kept as images, URL's, or fully functioning (i.e., with active hyperlinks) webpages. You can also grab portions of any screen from any application (stored in .png format), files on your hard drive, and more. No need to leave the current screen to drop it into CyberKeeper - a small floating toolbar does this for you. Records are reviewed in CyberKeeper's browser, your external browser, or the application that created them. If you are not connected to the 'net you can still view everything (obviously not through active links or the URL's - that would be black magic). So work is possible even at grandma's house (okay, that was age profiling). The very day that I downloaded CyberKeeper I was able to use it to good advantage as I gathered data on a product type that I wanted to purchase. (It is easier to learn and use than writing this review.) I could go on. . . . CyberKeeper does have some rough edges. These are mostly lack of documentation (of good features) and user interface oddities. There are simple work arounds for almost everything. I would have taken 1/2 point off my rating except for the superb support team. They are helpful, friendly, and very fast to respond. The best.   Pros

  The best feature is the capability of storing and indexing different formats of information, e.g.web pages, Office documents, pictures, music, videos together as a project. The web page content capturing feature is the most powerful I've seen.

  Cons

  Works on Windows only.

  Summary

  It takes a bit get-used-to to figure out the wealth of functionalities available, but once you know how to use it, it's a really convenient and powerful tool to keep the enormous amount of information organized. There are multiple ways to categorize and tag every piece of content. This is much more than an offline browsing tool, although it does that pretty well too. Whether you're a student, business user, or home user, as long as you'd like to keep your online and offline files, pictures, videos organized and packaged, this is the tool for you.

  Pros

  I have never used an on-line info management tool so powerful! You can play all kind of tricks files saved. You can even highlight text and add notes to the saved content! Also good for personal, business or research projects.

  Cons

  The interface is a little complicated, and it takes a little while to know what to do. Hope their next versions will get better.

  Summary

  I think this product has the great potential to become a very popular Cyber based file management tool. From my limited use of it, I already feel this is going to be something I will use very time I go on line! it makes saving of whole web page, or any section of a page, photos etc a very easy job! The best I like this software is the unique way you can file the saved contents in a very organized and easy to retrieve way. You can highlight sentences or sections just like you are using a physical highlighter! and you can put notes and comments about a saved file, a photo, an article, or anything you wanted to comment on. I have never seen other software with such a function. As a matter of fact, I am using CyberKeeper to put notes to my home photo album, and that has added a lot of fun when we go over photos of our last cruise trip! It seems to be a great tool to run business projects too.

  Pros

  This is something I have been looking for for long time. I do shopping on line a lot. It is really headache to keep my online shopping records. Such as receipts, product research information. Now, I can use CyberKeeper to keep and track all my online shopping. It really works for me.
