Cumulus' forecasting abilities are made possible the Dark Sky and Aeris Weather servers. They allow Cumulus to get countless information about the weather like knowing when precipitation will start and end or how far the nearest storm is.

The free version of Cumulus gets you all the meteorological goodness with no ads, subscriptions, or hidden fees. Cumulus Pro gives you extra goodies like weather maps, theme control, and dynamic app icons. Cumulus Elite has more advanced features like more map layers, special app icons only elite members get, and notifications.

This app offers subscriptions for "Cumulus Elite". They're available (in United States pricing) for $0.99 monthly or $2.99 yearly. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period and charged to your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renew/manage subscriptions in your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.
