• Spend your time on another game.

  The game itself was fun and interesting at on point in its history. This is not the case now.

  Cons

  The owners/admins of the game have nearly completely given up on the game. They provide no support to the players at all currently. In the past they have made horrible decisions that have impacted the games development at the time. Due to the absolute lack of support for the game by the developers any glitches, cheats, exploits that are found are no punished, corrected, or even warned to stop using.

  Summary

  Don't waste your time trying to level a character in this game, just move on and find a different game that has the support of its developers. The only thing this game has going for it right now is the developing company has not completely taken the servers offline. Which is more likely a lack of motivation to actually take the time out of there day and finally shut the game down permanently.

  Loading problems were present because of News.html. After deleting that file, it is working ok. Game still drags at times.

  killed the game, No new content, Favors being done to players that don't invest in the game , while the ones who invest get treated as dogs.Moderators abusing the game .No support what so ever. Its a dying game. Doubt it will last one more year.

  Generally speaking it is free to play around. The community is pretty nice for the most part. You have a choice of PVP or PVE servers. Better than average graphics for a game classified as free to play.

  Cons

  Purchasing points are required for upgrades and new zones. Expect to pay a lot of $ for points. Content is limited. Mage class only. Poor customer service, expect to be ignored. Bugs galore. Spawn rate and drop rates are bad. Spells are drops.

  Summary

  This game has only gone down hill since its introduction. Original staffing was very small but has been cut in half and new content has suffered. Newest content was a small but free raid zone which could be cleared in 10 minutes and a larger raid zone you could enter if you paid approximately $30 each time you wished to raid. Many bugs have been around since the beginning but seldom are fixes addressed during patches. If your account is effected by a bug more than likely it will take a long time to fix. Things will never be equal because known exploits which were taken advantage of by many players which staffing has not addressed. These exploits are stacking equipment and extra mana orbs. Unless your exploits are point related they really do not seem to care. The only kind of character you can be is a Mage but get to choose 2 of 5 schools of magic. PVPing does not reward experience for murdering people nor does it punish those. PVEing is a friendlier place but has not been given the same content as the PVP server. On a good day you might have 80 people online at the same time between both servers. You are better off spending $30 to buy a different game and spend $15 a month, because you will get more content, more choices, a larger community, actual customer support, regular patching to fixed known bugs, confidences that the game will still be around tomorrow, and save a lot of money when it is all said and done.

  Decent graphics. Free download and difficult to level.

  Cons

  Two guilds control this game. The guilds are basically led by approximately 12 players who were beta testers and were allowed to keep their characters. Therefore, they are too strong to battle. Most games, unlike this one wipes the beta characters.

  Summary

  Beta testers were allowed to keep their characters, allowing them to have equipment no others have. The result is that you have a dozen or so players that are arrogant jerks. Forced PVP at level 50 or if you join a guild makes it hard to level up. A starting player is very poor and to have a supercharged former beta tester kill you and take all your gold and reagents. A level 50 killing a level 20 says a great deal about the balance in this game.

  There arent many cons in this game apart from the minor lagg and the few minor bugs which admin are always there to fix ASAP.

  Summary

  A really good game considering its just out of beta stage. Its not an easy game to level in which is good as you can play for ages and not get bored. The lagg can sometimes be very irritating especially when you are in a delicate stage of the game and failure can be very frustrating. But all lagg problems are fixed almost as soon as they are posted. The pvp combat system is almost perfect in every aspect ranging from simple duels to full on guld hall sieges. As so much is at stake it can be very challenging especially when you got a couple of lvl 50's bearing down on you. Another good aspect about the pvp combat system is that there is more at stake than just dieing if your a murder... your hard earned raegents and gold is at stake. There could be a better melee system rather than the constant magical attacks and equipment. But overall considering how recent it was developed and anything is possible it is most definatly worth downloading.

  Summary

  Let me start off by saying this game has HUGE potential. The first step Rampid Interactive needs to take to making this game better is doing a hardware overhaul. Their servers are so laggy. I am running on a pretty decent computer with a decent video card and lots of extra ram installed but my game always crashes at the worst time. Almost everything that guy before me complained about should be disregarded. First of all, the two big guilds are strong for a reason, they play the most and put the most effort into being the best. It is not impossible to get good at this game on your own. I have several allies who have reached level 50 without being in a guild and without buying points for US$. I myself have a lvl 50 account and I had to put tons of work into it to reach lvl 50. Its actually kind of funny, they have a command where you can type /played and it shows you the time you have spent playing the game. Sofar im up to 10 days and some odd hours if that gives you an idea about how much work you have to put in to reach 50. As for PvP, I have no idea where he got all this garbage about the two big guilds camping all the noob spawns and killing people to steal the spawns. In fact, if you are un-guilded, you cant even participate in PvP combat unless you turn off your PvP safety (unless you are lvl 50, then you are automatically eligible for PvP). Most of the time if i steal a spawn from some noob I am just messing with them and will give them whatever he dropped. Okay on to the bad things. My biggest beef with this game is the lag and random crashes (which i think are caused from too much lag lol). There are a couple zones in the game which are fairly lag free for me but they are mostly the high level zones. If im not in one of the lag free areas, i find myself playing at anywhere from 2 - 20 fps. Obviously it is very rare that i ever get down to 2 fps but it DOES happen from time to time if a zone is really full or something. If there was no lag the game would be much more enjoyable to play. Its especially annoying when you have a low fps and you are trying to click on an item in your backpack or click on a target but it skips over them because it is so choppy. On to my second beef. I personally like playing as a magician but I do wish there was a stronger focus on melee in this game. Perhaps adding melee SKILLS similar to spells. This would make the game much much much more versatile in the style you play and what you encounter. Right now im trying to build a multi that is strictly melee based and i already feel he is gimp because besides being able to add points to strength to do more damage, theres nothing else to really do with your physical attack. There is one benefit of physical attack and that is it doesnt drain your vigor (controls how fast your mana regenerates) so technically if you are in a long drawn out fight and you are a mage, you are kind of screwed once your vigor hits 0 because your mana regeneration is painfully slow. If you were a melee based character, you could just keep chopping away to your hearts content. Even if they dont add a skill system, they should add more physical damage based weapons. When you get to a high level, you will find most weapons have stats that increase magic spell damage and the amount of intellect you have and other stuff like that. For a level 50 there is hardly any weapon that increases strength and agility. Probably the best melee weapon I could think of for a mid level account would be a razor sharp claymore which seems to be one of the last melee based weapons in the game. I may be wrong but other than a few extremely hard to get items, there isnt much for a physical based character to equip. My last problem with the game is the random crashes. What could be worse than being at a boss you need or in the middle of a trade and your game crashes on you. I remember right before I hit lvl 50 (literally 1 mob away from leveling) my game crashed. When stuff like that happens its just like, GIVE ME A BREAK! Its so inconvenient! Not to mention when you are in a group or something and you crash, pretty much everyone has to wait for you to get back on to continue (if they are nice group mates :P). In conclusion, I still think this is a really good game and has huge potential. All of my complaints are pretty much nit-picking because ive spent so much time playing the game that im gonna have to be ticked off about something. Other than that I say you should download it and at least give it a try. Maybe look for me and ill throw some gold at you if you are nice to me (my in game name is BigNizzle). Peace out!
