CrossfireX is a free-to-play FPS that'll feel very familiar to Counter-Strike fans. You pick a side, terrorists or anti-terrorists, and battle it out in objective-based scenarios. Simple rules: point, click, and pray.

  • Pros

    • Free to play, can't argue with that price | No in-match economy makes loadout changes simple | Modern mode adds some progression elements | Gameplay is very familiar to old-school fans

  • Cons

    • Spawn camping is a real problem, so be warned | Some modes aren't properly explained, sadly | Sensitivity settings need fiddling, out of the box it's bad | Unoriginal mechanics make the game feel uninspired
