It enables Project management professionals to identify and take suitable corrective action for problems arising within the supply chain. CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is a globally recognized professional certification offered by The Association for Supply chain and Operations Management (APICS) as a benchmark in production and inventory control. The program was established in 1973 for operations management professionals to equip them with knowledge of operations management involving demand management, sales planning, quality and performance measurement, capacity and material requirement and continuous improvement.
