This program helps you import files from a digital camera and organize them on your PC. After launching Paint Shop Photo Album, you can import photos from a camera or select a folder where your images are located. The software offers image-editing features such as rotate, crop, red-eye removal, and captions. When you click a photo, the program automatically opens it in a large edit window, leaving a smaller photo-browser pane open on the left. The program's Info section lets you display and change details such as size, resolution, title, and a description of each photo. You also can sort images by location, subject, and name of photographer. Apart from its image-editing functions, the software also can help you send photos through e-mail, automatically generate a configurable slide show, burn a VideoCD, and even make a collage of several images. The only weak point was installing, which took too long; we also experienced a crash during the process. With all its features and fast processing times, Paint Shop Photo Album makes a good choice for all digital-camera enthusiasts.

Pros
Pictures are easily accessed and corrections easy to use.
Cons
Using layers tough, I wish there was a stitching app.
Summary
I have used COREL for many years and it has served my needs pretty well, but I like to stitch pictures together. I have trouble with the layers and using them.
I love Corel Photo Album 6. It's on my dial-up computer

Pros
The only thing that I don't like is all my pictures did not transfer over from my dial-up computer which I've had for over 10 years. But I do love Photo Album 6 and want all my pictures transfered over. Please help me with this. Thank you.
Cons
Like I said my pictures from my old dial-up computer didn't transfer all my pictures to my new laptop. Which these pictures mean a lot to me and I would love to post them on facebook, but I can't unless I go on dial-up and wait 30 min. for 5 pictures
Summary
I bought the Corel Paint Shop Photo Express 2010 on July 15th, 2010. To this day it is still not install because it is not McAfee safe. I've been trying to get them to change it to Corel Photo 6, since I have it on my old computer. I did download your Corel Photo Album 6 (Which I just love it on my old computer) but by putting it on my new laptop I can't get all my pictures to transfer into my laptop. I've been trying all kind of things and now I'm getting very frustrated. There is a lot of pictures that I would love to download on my facebook. I have saved them on my documents, my desktop on almost everything. I would love to buy it permently, but they see that I have an account with the photo album 7 and they just won't let me buy it permently. Photo Album 7 is working with me to get me to exchange my account to Photo Album 6, but now on September 16th I'm still not getting really nowhere. Like I said I do have it on my old dial-up computer for at least the last 10 years and I just love Photo Album 6 and would love to have it on my laptop permanently but also I would love to have all my pictures transfered to this one. If you can help me I would be forever greatfull. I'm still going to try to get a hold of photo album 7 to see when they could transfer the account over. I even told them that they could keep the money that is left because I know that their Album 7 is a lot more expensive then album 6. But if you could help me also. Forever yours Jocelyne St, Anour

Pros
Superb compared to Photoshop Elemements Organiser which is buggy and slow. years spent trying to get PSE to work wasted, will now never go back - CPA much better - fast, stable, does what it says on the tin!
Cons
No problems at all
Summary
Excellent
It is only free quality, not worth $45

Pros
The software is fair, but there is no real selling point
Cons
Picasa might be better; definitely recommend trying DriveHQ Web Album Publisher. (photosharehq.com)

Pros
I do alot of photo restoring on the side for my family and it works very well. You can make collages and then save them to a file if you want to print them later. You can enhance pictures, zoom in, pan them around and then print however you want them to look. Works very well on high resolution photos. It did work well scanning in photos taken back from 1965 to 1980 and enhancing them. I do like Corel Paint Shop 6 better than Corel Photo Paint shop Pro which seemed to complicated.
Cons
The Dell version had multi problems with the CD disc which Corel did fix and is now really a 6.0.1 version for us Dell users, they forgot to put specific files on the CD disc but you have to go online and get that particular update, they may have even fixed the CD by now. There has only been 2 encounters with a problem since, but Photo album starts back up again with no problems. Captioning photos are hard and framing them does change or distort the photo sometimes.
Summary
This is the best product in the marketplace.
