Simple and easy to use home inventory app

Pros
Neat, simple layout. Easy to work out how to add and sort items. You can add photos to the notes and there are drop down menus for putting in details of warranties, etc
Cons
Only designed to record items of furniture or possessions - would be good to be able to record condition of the building itself.
Summary
If you want a simple, quick and straightforward app to record your possessions, Compartments will do the job. It IS possible to also to record the state of walls, lights, flooring and so on - but at present you'd have to adapt the categories and it could become rather long-winded. It's clear this app wasn't intended for use by a professional inventory clerk, but it's perfectly fine for recording your home items, e.g. for insurance purposes. Indeed, its simplicity works in its favour here, as you don't get bogged down with too much information.
