Pros
There is no better way to check our batteries, and I discovered this way that the battery of my MacBook Air (13" i7 256 GB) 9 weeks old has only the 95% of its expected capacity!
Cons
I'm sure they are (if not why this upgrade?) but I'm far to ignorant to discover them before the guys so... by my humbke side, 'no cons', sorry to can't be useful to the developers under this aspect
Summary
But I'll try to be useful adding a short list of wishes: I wish they will add a similar functionality to check the flash disk state, being both 'built in' and hardly replaceable. Another functionality that I wish to see implemented to monitor the ageing of my Mac, is to make a monthly background check and give me a graphic of the 'decadence' of the internal resources (why not also a dead screen's dots or other ideas?)

CNet's write-up was good, but they could have mentioned the incompatibility with legacy systems.

Had to download the product and attempt to run it before it was learned that it could not be used with my system.

Slow to update. Not clear indication if charging system is in current state of charging or discharging, on line voltage or battery power.
