I especially like the way the new window is placed "cascade" style just in front of the first. I agree -- this should be a resident feature in OS X. Thanks for this app.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Previously I relied on a home-baked AppleScript to do this job, but it was an ugly hack that was tucked away in the Scripts Menu. I'm pleased to say that this little utility makes my script obsolete, and does exactly what it says on the tin. Very nice, and very useful. Maybe not every day, but certainly several times a week. Installation raised a few doubts in my mind: I was unsure whether I should manually install the admin utility (I did), and the installer didn't actually put the app in the Finder windows' toolbar - I had to do that myself. If they can make the installation 'do all the most likely things' automatically and offer a 'customize' button for those that want to tweak the process, it would be even better, Still, for this price, I can't complain. Excellent.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />The keyboard commands work, but they don't do the same thing as Clone Window. The windows from the keyboard commands tend to be random in size and view, depending on the vagaries of the Finder. Clone Window gives you a new window exactly the same size and view as the window from which it is cloned. This may not be an essential function but it certainly can be useful from time to time. The new icon option is nice, as is the Clone Window utility. And the price is right. :)

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is fantastic. Any window can be duplicated exactly. The clone is nicely offset from the original. Perfect for moving files (and many other things.) The previous version didn't satisfy totally as the shape and position of the cloned window didn't match the source, The developer responded immediately to my email, and had "my fantasy features" all done the next day. Five stars is not enough!
