Works fine for me. Retained format, looks attractive and clear, no "junk" symbols. I'm not using it to edit, but only read my old Word Perfect files and copy them into Word.

I downloaded this junk and A. it did not work and B. it corrupted all of my word docs. The compnay did not return my e-mail request for help. They only have an answering machine.

Not only did it not do what I needed it to do... convert the document.... it changed my MSWord program. It now inserts a "paragraph" symbol that I cannot remove at all when starting new documents OR when I open old documents. If I would have known this, I would have NEVER uploaded the program!!!

After a few attempts, I got this software to work, as promised. I had to install it twice -- the first install didn't seem to be complete, even though the macro appeared in my Word menu. After the 2nd install, I found that Word's security macros (in Tools > Options) had to be set to LOW instead of the default HIGH. Then I had to reboot Word. After all this, the program worked beautifully. CleanConvert removed all the symbols that I was getting in using Microsoft's wordPerfect conversion process. FYI, I'm using XP, so don't know if my experience would be the same in other versions of Windows.

You can't remove it once its installed. Horrible. No support. Does NOT work. THe two good reviews were submitted by the company that makes this POS spyware software.

If you have a copy of Word 97 or newer, and you attemp to open a Word PErfect file. You get the text, but it's very distorted and srabled with lots of symbols all around. Any other version of word older than 97 will not open the file at all. This program will open the file with distortio just the same as the 97+ versions do. So if you have a 10 year old version of word, good program, other than that it does not deliver as promissed.
