Classic Menu brings the Mac OS menubar back to Mac OS X. It provides both an Apple menu on the left of the menu bar and a Process menu on the right. These menus are available within all programs while the Classic Menu application is running.

I tried to pay for it tonight and Kagi is down or...

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Very useful application, and very stable. Much like the OS 9 apple menu...can customize and access everything from the apple while within applications. I would like to see would be the ability to place things in the customized classic menu in any desired order, as it now only sorts the menu alphabetically. But I love it, nonetheless, and use it all the time. This app seems to be less "intrusive" than the other similar apps that I've tried, also. It's a "go" for me.
Must have for those missing the old Apple Menu

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I love it! The one thing I missed most when upgrading to OSX was my Apple Menu. I launched everything through that menu. Classic Menu gives it back to me. I have two partitions and have put an alias to both under Classic Menu which lets me reach anything on my volumes.
Great little product.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Classic Menu is great, Fruit thing is great, too. I've tried them both. I like Classic Menu. It does just what I want, it's a great price, and i can make my little Apple menu icon pretty colors without getting into themes.
Thanks for the update!
Thanks for keeping it 10.0 and up!!!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
i have been for a while, and prefer it to Fruitmenu for the simple reason that it allows you to select the maximum number of items in a folder for which it will
show the icons for, as opposed to fruitmenu which has an all or nothing approach.
This makes menu loading much faster with CM.
It is also very stable and easy as heck to customize.
Simpler = better
