Classic Cinemas for iOS

We'll cut right to the chase to save you a little time: Classic Cinemas is a movie theater in Australia. The Classic Cinemas app displays movies and show times for the movie theater, so if you don't live near this cinema, don't bother with this app. While we don't live in Australia, we can at least say that the app does a great job of displaying the current movies, and offering a way for patrons to purchase tickets ahead of time.

Classic Cinemas opens with a main menu with three options: Session Times, Now Showing, and Latest News. A scrollable movie poster menu lets you go directly to a movie. We tapped the Session Times and were taken to an up-to-date list of all the available movies and their respective show times. Tapping a specific show time takes you to the Purchase page to nab your tickets. A shortcut menu for quick access to the app's other options lines each page. Using it, we went directly to the Movie page, which listed all of the available movies; tapping each movie opened a page with the movie's description, as well as release date, rating, run time, and list of stars. The News feature keeps you informed of important happenings at Classic Cinemas.

If you like to frequent Classic Cinemas, this is an app you'll want to have on hand. It's a great resource for keeping up with the latest and greatest movies releases. We recommend it for all of its patrons.
