Cisco Proximity for iOS

Cisco Proximity is a productivity application designed for mobile devices, facilitating seamless collaboration with Cisco video endpoints. The app allows users to connect to video systems, control content sharing, and engage in live video conferences, making it suitable for modern workplaces and educational environments. With its automatic pairing feature, users can easily connect their mobile devices to Cisco endpoints using ultrasound technology, optimizing the collaborative experience by providing access to shared materials like PowerPoint presentations and documents directly on their devices.

Security is a key focus of Cisco Proximity, featuring an access token system that renews every 30 seconds to protect user information from unauthorized access. The app accommodates several Cisco endpoints, such as SX10, SX20, SX80, MX200 G2, MX300 G2, MX700, and MX800, allowing multiple simultaneous connections depending on the device. Although currently in a testing phase, it offers essential functionalities for video conferencing while ensuring a secure environment for users.
