Flixel Cinemagraph+ allows you to turn short video clips into living pictures to help you preserve the perfect memory. Take a short clip, apply the tools the app lays out for you, and you'll soon have a unique memento you can share.

Pros

Optional account: You can use all of the tools in this app without signing up for an account. Without an account, you will miss out on the social aspects of the app, and you won't be able to see some of the amazing creations other users have shared, but it's nice to have the option to just create for yourself.

Smooth navigation: This app's intuitive interface makes learning to use it as easy as possible. There are lots of tools to play with and filters to test out, and getting the perfect image at the end will take some practice. But everything does work just like you expect it to, so finding your way around is greatly eased.

Cons

Facebook integration: When we tried to sign up for a Flixel account through Facebook, this option didn't work. Even after we updated our permissions in the Settings menu, we were unable to integrate, and so had to create an account separately.

Bottom Line

Flixel Cinemagraph+ is a powerful and versatile tool. The images it lets you create are a great way to capture a special moment or just create a photo that will wow your friends. And by browsing the projects others have created, you can find inspiration for your own designs. The app costs $19.99 to download and use.
