This app measures the fundamental frequency of sound at the microphone input and displays that frequency as well as the closest note.

This app measures the fundamental frequency of sound at the microphone input and displays that frequency as well as the closest note. A horizontal bar is used to give an analog indication of how close the frequency is to the note. When the frequency matches the note (in tune), the length of the horizontal bar goes to zero and the display will turn green.
