They Do not answer phones. They lack in business etiquette. They do not return phone calls and do not respond to e-mails.
Summary
Spent over a year trying to get Chilkat software on the telephone. They refuse to answer the telephone. I left probably 5 voice mails within a 1 month time-frame. I sent several e-mails. They never responded to a single voice mail and never responded to a single e-mail. Finally after 1 year of trying, I was able to get Matt Fausey on the telephone, and my question to him was why we had a hard time getting any response and is this what we can expect from technical support. Matt was rude and responded that they do not answer telephones where caller ID's are blocked. Which my home phone number caller ID is indeed blocked as I don?t feel people need to know my home phone number. Evidently I was able to get through this time because we called on our business line which does not block caller ID information. Even if they do not answer calls where caller ID is blocked that doesnt' excuse why they have not returned a single phone call. I highly discourage anyone from doing business with a company that lacks in customer service. The moment you need their assistance, they will not be there. In My opinion Chilkatsoft is one such company that does not deserve our companies business, which is a shame on his part as he stood to gain not only a large amount of money, but our recommendations on Linked In, Facebook, Twitter as well as many other place. Now we will be informing the general public about our experience with Matt Fausey and Chilkat Software chilkatsoft) in hopes of ensuring others are well informed before they decide to do business with this person or his company.

Pros
Nothing - software is buggy. The company is owned and run by one person. When you call you get an answering machine - ALWAYS. Only calls regarding sales are returned.
Cons
When you call you will get an answering machine The only time my phone call was returned was of course for the initial purchase itself. Any phone calls or e-mails for tech support are ignored 100% of the time & the software itself is somewhat buggy.
