Charter 2.0 is a sophisticated charting software that contains many of the popular technical indicators and chart annotating tools for stocks. You can load up charts that vary durations from 1 minute intraday to 10 years. Moreover, mix and match groups of indicators to go with a stock chart and then annotate on them to further analyze the stock technically. You can also organize stocks with the new watch list function. Furthermore, there are several categorized daily stock picks for endless investment ideas. You must have Microsoft .NET 2 Framework and Sun Java plugins to run this software. Instructions and links are included in the zip file of this download.

Very handy for subscibers and non

Pros
Even if you subscribe to Stockcharts this program is useful as it opens charts directly with no stockcharts tabs or banners. You can even have it open the charts directly in edit mode you you can make trend lines etc then screen capture the image to post in chat rooms or message boards. <p> <p>I suppose that in time stockcharts will block the program as it uses their service for free but for now it is very useful.
