Chandigarh Voter App for Android

Chandigarh Voter App (CVA) is an App developed by Chief Electoral Officer Chandigarh to inform the voters regarding the queue at their polling booths. Voters can plan their voting based on the length of the queue. This App will send the notification to voters regarding queue length at an interval of 15 minutes on 19/05/2019 (7 AM to 6 PM), who have registered their mobile number on this App. After casting the vote, user may click the button "I voted - Stop Queue Notification" available on App. Then App will stop sending notification to the user.

Voters can search their detail by EPIC No(Voter Id Number) or by Name. Booth location can be searched by area wise. Candidate list is also available on App. User can see voters queue for any pooling station.

The ultimate goal of this App is to give every voter an option to check the current queue at their polling station. So, the voter can decide when to go and utilize their valuable vote. Thus, it will save the voter time and let the voting done smoothly
