• Verrrrrrry slow to respond to any inquiries

  Pros

  A reduction in latency was found but subtle at best. What, you think there should be more?...more pro?....ok,...how about, "it didn't corrupt the computer and it was easy enough to purge from the registry". How's that for a pro?

  Cons

  Very intrusive registry chain. Trust is an issue with this software. It's so deeply rooted within the registry that what's actually going on is hard to track. I've spent hours linking the registry changes that the program makes and half of it has nothing to do with actual data path usage. It's a bit random, like a wet dream gone south.

  Summary

  Don't plan on contacting them for information or assistance. They're slow to respond. No seriously, you don't know this sort of slow. Makes you a bit paranoid to be honest. Just paying for the program through PayPal was like trying to deal with retarded kids running a neighbourhood Koolaid stand. No concept of customer service whatsoever. That well known German arrogance is alive and well with this company...company *cough*....enterprise?.....eh.....

  Pros

  Worked OK for the first two weeks or so. Traffic shaping seemed to work and I was looking forward to trying the line calibration amongst other new features.

  Cons

  Looks as if it just died. No changes to report from the last few days that I looked at, just like the app stopped functioning. Can't get the line to calibrate no matter how long I let the PC run - which makes it hard to tell if the product is even doing anything at all.

  Summary

  Finally removed it completely. My Fibe Internet connection IS faster - Maybe Cfos Speed is not meant to work over fiber connections? Save your money. No matter how fast you wanna go, there are speed limits out there and they're nowhere near what the Internet Speedster Manufacturing Companies claim to be able to increase them!

  Requires all the computers in LAN to have cfos installed for optimal usage Not free after 30 days

  Summary

  Overall very useful (for me), i've had it since 2 years and i like it. I would reccomend it to those who download while doing other stuff often. I have tried netlimiter as an alternative, which did not convince me at all compared to cfos.

• Putting Priorities Where They Belong

  Pros

  By Traffic Shaping, it prioritizes the different types connections we make instead of the connection devoting all it's bandwidth/speed to something that needs very little. Personally it allows full download/upload speeds while multiple streaming, and browsing chores are going on. Doing background net chores while gaming in real time online play (co-op, team, etc.) is a no brainer.

  Summary

  If you have a real slow connection it's not going to make it faster but it can shape your traffic and do it more efficiently allowing you to do more with that connection. The same efficiency of course applies to higher speed connections. I bought this software, untested without trial a short time after it's conception and never regretted it. The next question should be 'how often do I actually pay for software'. The answer is simple: I don't need 10 fingers in 30+ years of computing to count.

  Pros

  Optimizes your internet transfer to get a full speed. Most Country with low-medium speed internet. (6M-16M only DL speed) It's Good choice to use this for make your internet and "Ping" to be lowest as possible. You can Download anything with play online games that use a lot of data contact and you will never seen a "Lag" or slow respond time on your internet and network.

  Cons

  Nothing at all for me.

  Summary

  It's Just a reduce some your speed to make a internet stable and get a lowest ping. If your internet have a high speed and very-low ping (I think it's 1-10ms) It result a little bit good or nothing But If you use a low speed and moderate ping and you're downloader and share internet to your network. It's good way to use this. Just try them. If like. Buy it. You'll never disappoint.

  I don't see any pros.

  I installed this program, waited and let it calibrate, as per the instructions in the users manual. Then I performed various tests. There was no difference in speed with this program installed and this program not installed. I am running Windows 7 64x.

  Summary

  This is a complete waste of time to download and install. I am currently running Windows 7 which automatically does these calibrations already. You may find better results if you are running Windows XP or Vista.

  Pros

  Tried running without it. 10 mb without it. frequently up to 1.3 MB running.

  Cons

  Sometimes the Driver is overwritten by the OS (Win7x64) if there is a glitch in the system requiring the OS to use the native driver.

  Is there no industry standard for upload and download colours in the window?
