cam720 is a security camera companion app designed for remote monitoring through internet-connected cameras. It emphasizes real-time video access, allowing users to view live feeds and review recorded footage as needed. Commonly utilized for home, office, and small business surveillance, the app prioritizes connectivity and alerts over advanced analytics, establishing itself as a practical monitoring tool rather than a comprehensive security management system. The user-friendly interface facilitates quick access to feeds and camera status, enhancing routine monitoring tasks.
The app offers live video streaming and recorded playback linked to compatible cameras, ensuring ongoing visibility of monitored areas. Users can benefit from cloud-based playback options and basic camera controls, which simplify activity review without requiring physical access to storage media. Motion and sound detection features trigger alerts for activity within defined zones, supporting timely awareness through push notifications. While some camera models enable basic automatic tracking, the app is designed primarily for situational awareness.
