Calm motion for Android

Calm Motion is an Android application designed to alleviate motion sickness during travel by providing visual cues that align with the body's sensations while in motion. Utilizing device sensors, it creates animated circles around the screen that respond dynamically to acceleration, braking, and turns, offering a real-time overlay that remains visible over other applications. Users can customize the size, speed, color, and transparency of the visual indicators, making it adaptable to personal preferences. This utility is particularly beneficial for commuters and travelers who experience discomfort when using their devices in moving vehicles.

The application operates as a system-wide overlay, allowing users to engage with other apps like browsing or watching videos without interruption. The overlay is designed to reduce sensory mismatch that can lead to nausea by providing immediate visual feedback that corresponds to the vehicle's movements. With a straightforward interface that prioritizes privacy by avoiding data collection, Calm Motion aims to enhance the travel experience for those affected by motion sickness.
