  Hi, I am Peter Ackerson. This is a legitimate business located in Orange County, NY. We have been in business since 2005. I am also an active municipal building inpsector and code enforcement officer in NY. For years I searched for a reliable, easy-to-use and reasonably priced program that could manage my Building Department & Code Enforcement Operations. The ones I could afford were very basic and failed to meet my needs. The ones that worked for me, cost 10's of thousands of dollars. After giving up, thinking I was stuck, I teamed up with other government IT programmers and system engineers. We developed our flagship program BICEs.   At WAGsys, we don't need to charge a fortune to be profitable, We sell a very powerful program that is easily customizable. The software will work in a client/server environment or on a single computer. It can handle from 1 to 1000 users all entering data at the same time. We have not had one unhappy customer yet and we will keep it that way. As I said, we are Government workers too. We know what it is like and what your constraints are in trying to get the job done. Also, we are currently developing the next product BICESonline. This system will support web-based operations, cloud computing and android operations. Our program is reasonably priced too! Cost is based on the number of tax parcels in your municipality. Prices start at $1,500.00 for a 1000 tax parcel limit and go up to $5,000.00 for 20000+ tax parcels. • Economical Software for small municipalities

  Pros

  Easy to use. Cheap for small towns and villages.

  Cons

  Not sure if this is a con. They put out updates all the time so if you don't check for updates, you may be running an older version.

  Summary

  We love the software. As a small town we didn't have the money to pay for the online services and big name code enforcement software. BICES is powerful enough for us and easily customizable.

• Excellent product at an excellent price

  Pros

  Performs all the required tasks for our department, includes dozens of report forms, label making, search features, very easy to use for non-computer inclined inspectors. Use of the program in the field with laptops was just icing on the cake.

  Cons

  They are developing PB and ZBA software to go along with the building program. Con is it isn't already here.

  Summary

  Program has a low initial cost and yearly maintenance fees are low as well if elected. Price is based on the number of tax parcels so the cost is lower for the real small municipalities and yet they get to use the same software as much larger jurisdictions. Multiple means of program support, easy to read and follow user manuals and constant free upgrades based on new designs or user suggestions are just a few reasons to purchase this software.
