  No frills, just works perfectly! Might not be appropriate for macheads or win-only users, for regular comp types, it's a config file setup, then drag and drop and off you go!

  BladeEnc is a great utility because it does what I want and it's FREE It doesn't take up much memory and it converts AIF files straight to MP3 Thanks Petteri Kamppuri...

  ugly interface, but a surprisingly excellent mp3 encoder. I'm impressed. it's superior to other mac encoders I've used.

  I'm using OS 9.1 on my Mac.....BladeEnc produces MP3s with a terrible sound quality, even at 320 Kbps. It's got nothing but static, static, and static. And that's when the program works; it has a tendency to suddenly quit on its own accord in the middle of convering a file.

  Much better when capturing AIFF files using Track Thief with speed set at 1x, reliable buffering turned on, and played back using GrayAmp.

  This is little and simple program, but it does not convert CD-audio tracks to MP3-files, which is (my opinion) very important feature to all MP3-decoder programs.That's why I gave only 2 points for features. But if that is not a problem for you, then... What you are WAITING FOR??? Download it!
