  Agreed (with mumbumcrumb) that non-subscription hosting is nice; this is one of the oldies and patches can be hard to find.

  Agreed (with william1107) that this patch "completely mucks up the game and you can't remove it", BUT: what isn't clear in CNET's description (or responses) is...because you need the glove! If you don't...well...this great little game was written way back when, when it was fine to give warnings about missing DLL's as your only hint that you should have paid attention to the system requirements (instead of expecting it to detect all the problems and hold your hand through the "get libraries we can't legally distribute with our software" stuff). That's just how it was done when computer users were a little more savvy.

  Unfortunately, if you've installed this and don't have the glove, the quickest solution is to uninstall the game, delete its folders (search for LionHead, as it appears in a few places, and keep your "save game" folders if you need to), and then--because again this was written a long time ago and it didn't get all the way out of your registry, search the registry for the DLL that prevents you from reinstalling and delete ONLY that key. You don't need to delete anything else / the installer will work fine again. You should then patch up to, but not including, this glove patch. Why am I spending so much time on this, in such an old place? Because the game works on Windows 7 (just install it somewhere where you have full permission to its folders, so that save games work right)...and it isn't half bad if you like this sort of strategy game.

  i have a sold out software version of the game it compleatly mucks it up and you cant get rid of the game so its on your computer pemanatly and you cant play it
